What Nailed It is

Nailed It turns a photo of a room, a yard or a garage into project ideas, a materials list and a step-by-step plan. By creating an account and using the app, you agree to these terms.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Nailed It. If you are under 18, you may use the app only with the permission of a parent or guardian.

Planning estimates, not professional advice

Everything Nailed It gives you is a planning estimate, made to help you decide what to do and what it might cost. It is not professional advice, and it is not a stand-in for a licensed contractor, architect, engineer or inspector.

Read every figure as an estimate. Measurements are read from photos and can be off. Quantities are calculated with an allowance for waste. Prices are typical ranges, not quotes, and they move with the store and the region. Measure your own space, and check the quantities and prices at your local store, before you buy anything.

Your safety, your codes, your permits

You are in charge of the work itself. That means:

• Working safely, and using the right eye, ear, lung and hand protection for the job.
• Following the building codes where you live, and getting any permit the work needs.
• Knowing your own limits. Structural, electrical, plumbing, gas and roofing work should be done by a licensed professional, and where the app flags a job as one to hand over, take that seriously.

No warranty

Nailed It is provided as is. The ideas, measurements, quantities, prices and time estimates it gives you are estimates, and they can be wrong.

We work to keep the app running, but we cannot promise that it will always be available or free of errors.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Nailed It is not responsible for any injury, damage or loss that comes from a project you choose to do. You decide what work to take on, and how to do it safely.

Beta seasons, pricing and plans

Nailed It is in beta, released in seasons. While a season runs, everything in the app is free. Between seasons the app pauses while the next one is built, and you can join the list to hear when it opens.

Plans and prices can change as the app grows. If a change affects what you pay, we tell you before it applies to you, and you are free to cancel.

Subscriptions

Pro is a monthly or yearly subscription, and you can cancel it at any time. Go to Settings, choose Manage or cancel subscription, and cancel in a few clicks. Pro stays active until the end of the period you already paid for, and then the account returns to the free plan.

Payments are handled by Stripe. If you need help with billing or cancelling: contact@nailedit.gg.

Acceptable use

Your account is yours to use, and anything you post or send through the app, whether that is a note, a photo or a feedback message, is your responsibility.

Do not use Nailed It to post or send anything unlawful, anything that infringes somebody else's rights, or anybody else's private information. We can remove content that breaks these rules, and close accounts that keep breaking them.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from Settings, and everything in it goes with it. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we will tell you if we do.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Illinois, USA.

Changes to these terms

When these terms change, we update this page and the date at the top. Carrying on using the app after a change means you accept the new version.
