About Nailed It
Nailed It turns a photo of a room, a yard or a garage into a plan you can actually build. You take a few pictures, tell us what you are picturing, and the app reads the space, its surfaces, its features and its rough dimensions. From there it puts together ideas for that exact space, a materials list with the amounts and costs worked out, and a step-by-step plan you can follow yourself or hand to somebody helping you.
Why I started Nailed It
I started Nailed It to help DIYers find inspiration and feel empowered to create things on their own. That is what it is all about: sparking creativity, and making projects feel doable and fun.
The part I love is what happens next. You try something you were not sure you could do, finish it, and think, nailed it. That is the feeling this app is here to give you.
It is for anyone improving their place without guessing: first-time homeowners staring at a dated bathroom, renters who want changes they can undo, weekend builders planning a deck or a raised garden bed, and experienced hands who just want the math finished fast. Indoors and outdoors work the same way, so bedrooms, kitchens, basements, driveways, fences, patios and backyards all start with the same photo.
Nailed It is made by a small independent team, not a big company. We are still in beta, and that is on purpose: you use it, tell us what is missing or wrong, and that shapes what gets built next. Where a job is risky, like a load-bearing wall, wiring or plumbing, we say so plainly and point you to a licensed pro instead of pretending it is a weekend job.
Your projects stay yours. Read them, print them, download them, and delete your account with everything in it whenever you want.
