Privacy Policy

What we collect

Only what the app needs to work. We do not buy personal data, and we do not collect anything to sell it on.

• Your account: the email address and the display name you give us when you sign up.
• Your photos: the room, yard or garage photos you upload for a scan.
• Your projects: the space you describe, the ideas, materials lists and steps generated for it, the notes you add, and the ideas you save.
• Your feedback: the message you send us, and the page you were on when you sent it.
• Payment status: whether a Pro subscription is active, and its Stripe identifiers. Card details are handled by Stripe and are never seen or stored by us.

Your photos

A photo is converted to JPEG and has its location data removed before it is uploaded, so a picture cannot carry the place it was taken out of the app with it.

Your photos are used to read the space and to produce the ideas, materials list and plan you asked for, and for nothing else.

How we use your data

• To generate your ideas, materials lists and step-by-step plans, which means processing your photos and your description of the space with AI.
• To run your account and send the emails it needs, such as verification codes, password resets and messages about your own projects.
• To send season and product update emails, which you only receive if you opted in. Every one of those emails carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes one click.
• To keep the app working and safe: understanding errors, and spotting abuse or misuse.

Children

Nailed It is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us their information, write to contact@nailedit.gg and we will delete it.

Who we rely on

We do not sell your data, and we do not hand it to advertisers. These are the services that make the app work:

• Base44 hosts the app and stores your account, your photos and your project data.
• Stripe takes the payments for Pro and holds the card details that we never see.
• Google handles the Google sign-in option, if you choose to use it.
• AI processing: your photos and text are sent for analysis and generation to produce your ideas, materials lists and plans.

How long we keep data

Your account and project data are kept until you delete your account. When you delete it, the data is removed from our active systems.

Cookies and local storage

We use cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, to remember your settings such as the beta welcome screen, and to protect our forms from bots. We do not use advertising trackers.

Your choices

• Your projects are yours: read them, print them or download them whenever you like.
• You can download your projects and delete your account, and all of the data in it, from Settings.
• You can unsubscribe from update emails at any time, with the link at the foot of any of them.
• If you would rather we did something for you, or you want to know what we hold, write to contact@nailedit.gg.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes in a way that matters, we say so on this page and update the date at the top.
